The Urgent Reality

One out of every four people experiencing homelessness in Lincoln last year was under the age of 18.

In the last year, CEDARS received 3,857 referrals for kids in need of a safe place to spend the night.

CEDARS welcomed 221 kids with nowhere else to turn at our emergency shelter last year.

To most people, Tessa looked like a typical teen. She showed up to school every day, greeted others with a smile, and maintained good grades. What no one saw was that Tessa was experiencing homelessness.&nbsp;
