Film Screening & Discussion: Feminists-What were they thinking?

This will be in person or through Zoom.  We encourage you to join in person if you can! This will count for Ongoing and Diversity training hours. 

Women's Equality Day commemorates August 26, 1920, when the 19th Amendment was formally adopted into the U.S. Constitution, securing women's right to vote.

The documentary Feminists: What Were They Thinking? explores the powerful stories of women who challenged societal expectations and helped shape the modern feminist movement. Featuring thought-provoking interviews and photographs from the 1970s, the film examines how far we've come in the fight for gender equality while inspiring conversations about the work that continues today.

After the screening, we'll host a brief group discussion to reflect on the film, share perspectives, and celebrate the progress made toward equality.
