Join Mental Health America (MHA) for a virtual summit dedicated to providing education and support during Mental Illness Awareness Week. Designed for individuals, caregivers, advocates, and workplace leaders, this interactive event will spotlight lived experience, research, and practical strategies to improve mental health across every corner of our communities.
Through expert-led discussions and actionable takeaways, we will address the systemic and personal barriers to mental well-being, explore solutions, and provide attendees with resources to support mental health.

11:00-11:05 a.m. | Welcome & initial remarks from MHA
- MHA will welcome attendees and provide an overview of the event.
11:05-11:35 a.m. | Session 1: Beyond stigma: Redefining mental health narratives
- This session will explore strategies for combating public and self-stigma through highlighting lived experiences, data, and powerful reframing techniques.
11:35-12:00 p.m. | Session 2: Workplace mental health: Evidence-based interventions
- This session will explore research-backed tech interventions and modern workplace accommodations for employees struggling with their mental health.
12:00-12:30 p.m. | Session 3: Family mental health: Support for caregivers
- This session will explore the unique challenges families experience. We will provide resources, support, and guidance for parents and caregivers who may be struggling while also addressing common mental health challenges like perinatal and postpartum depression.
12:30-12:55 p.m. | Session 4: Whole person care: Connecting mind, body, and daily practices
- This session will explore the mind-body connection and share practical, multi-modal wellness strategies for daily life.
12:55-1:00 p.m. | Closing remarks
- We will close by reflecting on insights from the day and provide MHA follow-up materials.
