Love146's "#NotANumber" is a program providing resources for parents and caregivers to help youth avoid child trafficking, teaching them about risks, recruitment tactics, healthy relationships, online safety, and how to recognize and report exploitation, with specific guides and materials to support parents in having open conversations and creating safe environments, connecting youth with help when needed.

Key Resources for Parents:

  1. Parent/Caregiver Guide: Offers insights into common youth slang, explaining its potential negative impacts and empowering adults to guide children in making good choices with language.
  2. Collaborative Approach: Materials are designed to align with what youth learn in the program, helping adults support their children's journey to safety.
  3. Focus on Prevention: Equips parents to discuss online safety, healthy relationships, consent, and recognizing harmful situations, reducing vulnerability.
  4. Support & Connection: Encourages parents to be trusted resources, listen, and connect kids to local help lines and services before crises occur, ensuring children know they aren't alone.
