Susan Pawloski has twenty-five years of experience in family support, early childhood development, and community-based programming serving families both in Nebraska and Iowa. Throughout her career Susan has centered her work on the belief that every caregiver deserves support, connection, and resources to help support their children’s growth and success.

In her current role as Supervisor of Family Education at Lutheran Family Services, Susan oversees the agencies' home visitation services that utilize the Parents as Teachers® model. Susan brings a deep understanding of how evidence-based home visitation can strengthen caregivers and improve outcomes for young children.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Masters of Social Work and Masters of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She is certified in multiple parent education models including Parents as Teachers®.

Julie Griesenbrock is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Counseling degree from Doane University. She currently serves as the Clinical Supervisor for Family Centered Treatment at Lutheran Family Services, where she brings more than a decade of experience supporting children, families, and caregivers through intensive therapeutic services, family preservation, and reunification work.

Julie is extensively trained in evidence based and trauma informed modalities, including Family Centered Treatment (FCT),  Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), EMDR Child Specialist training, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Her clinical approach reflects a deep commitment to healing, empowerment, and strengthening family systems.

Beyond her professional roles, Julie has a long history of community service and global outreach. She has taught life skills to incarcerated individuals and created Changing the Pendulum, a 14-session program designed to help women in the Nebraska Re integration Program set and achieve meaningful goals. Julie has also provided psychoeducation to staff at Daystar Junior School Kirombe in Uganda, remodeled homes with Habitat for Humanity, supported families at the Open Door Mission, and taught Sunday School at Lincoln Berean Church.

When she’s not working to make a difference in the lives of others, Julie enjoys spending time in nature, traveling with her family, and adventuring with her dog, Chewy. Fun fact: Julie and her husband share the same birthday!

Jennifer Auman has a bachelor’s degree in education and over 20 years professional experience in Early Childhood. Jennifer has spent the last 13 years at DHHS in home visiting, expanding the program to serve more families across the state, preventing child maltreatment, and increasing positive lifespan health outcomes. Jennifer is passionate about what she does and believes strongly in the mission of DHHS "Helping People Live Better Lives."  The greatest accomplishment in Jennifer's life is that her two children have become thoughtful, compassionate, and kind adults! Her family lives in Panama, just south of Lincoln, Nebraska.
