This free session will provide an indepth overview of the Nebraska Domestic Abuse Death Review Team (DADRT), including its mission and purpose, for a state-wide audience. We will also discuss the team's current work and ongoing initiatives to enhance Nebraska's efforts in protecting and supporting individuals at risk of domestic violence.
About DADRT:
The DADRT conducts a multidisciplinary analysis of domestic abuse-related deaths, reviewing the experiences of victims, the behaviors of perpetrators, and the circumstances surrounding each case. Through this collaborative process, the DADRT identifies key factors that contribute to domestic violence fatalities and highlights areas for improvement in how systems respond to victims of abuse.
