Revival Gear Bags

Thanks to Suzanne McIlvaine and Sharon DeBevoise -- dedicated donors of the Revival Gear Bags, which are provided for children entering CEDARS Emergency Shelter or Foster Care. These colorful, handmade duffle bags are designed for boys, girls and infants. They contain a coordinating hygiene bag stuffed with shampoo, soap, a hand towel and wash cloth, toothpaste and toothbrush, comb/brush and baby wipes.

In addition, the women also include teddy bears, small pillows, coloring books, crayons, journals and small toys, depending on the age and gender of the child. These bags are not only practical for kids who enter care with nothing to carry their belongings in, but also boost esteem by giving them something to call their own from people who care.
