CEDARS Conducting Campaign to Build New Crisis Center Wing

CEDARS "Room to Grow" campaign moved one step closer with a recent donation from the Heritage Leaguer Woman's Club of Lincoln. Heritage League President Pat King presented the check to Jim Blue, President and CEO of CEDARS Youth Services.

King said the check represented part of the proceeds from Heritage League's Annual Holiday of Trees fundraising event in December. CEDARS is conducting its "Room to Grow" campaign to build a new crisis center wing to enhance its present services on Pioneers Boulevard.

The total cost of the new wing is expected to be about $3.5 million, of which $2 million will need to come from private donations.
